This Privacy Policy explains how SignalDigest (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and subscription digest service (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
- Account and billing data: email address, Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, and payment status. Card details are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Delivery preferences: frequency, timezone, send time, and optional webhook or push (ntfy) endpoints you provide.
- Usage and ops logs: delivery success/failure events, basic server logs, and support emails you send us.
- Website data: standard request logs from our hosting provider (e.g. Cloudflare) such as IP address, user agent, and pages visited.
2. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service (including sending digests on your chosen schedule and channels).
- Process payments, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We share data with service providers who help us run the Service, including:
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions
- Resend — transactional and digest email delivery
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- Optional channels you enable — e.g. Slack/webhook endpoints or ntfy, which receive digest content you opted into
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
4. Data retention
We retain account, preference, and delivery records for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing, abuse prevention, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us (subject to legal retention needs).
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. International transfers
We and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection laws.
7. Your choices
- Update delivery preferences via the link in digest emails.
- Cancel your subscription through Stripe’s customer portal or by contacting us.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by emailing us.
8. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
